Don’t discount the thrill of drag racing

By admin | August 18, 2010

There are so many different motor cycle racing holidays that you might just think of track or dirt racing. On the other hand, a drag racing race starts and finishes in a very short period of time because the race involves very high speeds and a short, straight, paved track. Drag races typically occur over a quarter mile, or half mile stretch, and are made up of a couple different types of races including bracket racing and heads up drag racing. Bracket racing involves a race between two opponents who are both racing strictly for the fastest and most consistent time, not necessarily against each other. Heads up racing is a race between many competitors, all racing to cross the finish line first.
