Homemade Costumes The Old Fashioned Way

I’m tired of spending so much money on costumes for the children to wear trick or treating. When we were kids, we made our own costumes. We didn’t buy these cheap things that they sell for almost $40 each at the local party stores. So this year, I went online to the various Halloween Forums and found tons of great ideas for homemade costumes. I gave each one of the kids 5 choices to pick from. Actually, I was pleasantly surprised at how well they took to the idea. I’ve made out a list of materials we need and I’m sure I’ll be spending much less than 120.00 for all three costumes this year.
