Medicare Stair Lifts

I do not have a lot of options with my house and what I can do to it to make it more user friendly for someone in a wheelchair. Of course, when you have grown up and grown old in a place you would hate to have to sell it just because you can not get up and down the stairs. Does medicare cover stair lifts? I have no room for an elevator and sure can not afford one of those to be installed but a reasonable alternative would be to have a chair lift installed and I would like it to be covered by insurance.
