1st time 29 – First Time Driver Insurance
By admin | July 31, 2009
I passed my test this morning! It’s really exciting to be able to drive now and I’ve been spending the last couple of hours looking for first time driver insurance. I thought because of my age I might be able to get a better deal than other new drivers (I’m 29), but they’ve still been really expensive! Some of them are coming in at around £800 a year! That’s nearly as much as my car’s worth! I did manage to find a really cheap deal at £400, but when I looked closely at the insurance schedule, the cover was really poor, there were no bonuses and I would have had to pay a massive excess if I’d had an accident. The policy I eventually purchased was quite steep, but it covers everything and it’s still a lot better value than the £800 ones I’ve seen.
